Before your experience
I want you to step into your Just BE experience feeling comfortable, prepared and completely at ease. I’ve gathered everything you may want to know in one place so you can arrive feeling clear, cared for and free to simply Just BE.
And if there’s anything you’re still wondering about, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I’m always happy to answer your questions or talk through anything you’d like to know.
Thank you again for saying YES to yourself and trusting me to guide you through this incredible experience. I can’t wait to create with you.
-
Your Just BE Prep Guide walks you through everything you need to know, from wardrobe and meaningful items to preparing for the flow of your experience. Please take some time to read through it fully before your session — there are lots of little details that will help us create something that feels uniquely YOU.
-
Your Just BE experience will take place in my private studio in Oceano at 1877 Front Street.
When you arrive, you’re welcome to park right out front on the street. I’m in the green building between the Melodrama and Sylvester’s.
Once you’re here, simply call or text me and I’ll come down to welcome you in.
-
Absolutely not. I’ll guide you through the entire experience. There is nothing to practice or perform. In fact, the less you worry about what you’re “supposed” to do, the better. Your only job is to show up and allow yourself to Just BE.
-
After we move through the photographing portion of your experience, which usually lasts about 60–90 minutes, you’ll have a little time to change, relax and enjoy a snack or beverage while your images are uploading.
During this time, I’ll also show you the heirloom artwork I offer so you can see and experience the different ways you may choose to enjoy your portraits.
Then comes your same-day portrait reveal. We’ll sit down together and experience all of your images for the first time. I’ll guide you through a simple, relaxed process of narrowing them down and choosing the portraits you love most.
-
Your $590 Just BE session fee is my gift to you and includes your fully guided portrait experience and same-day portrait reveal. Digital and printed portraits are purchased separately during your reveal.
Individual portraits are $300, and portrait collections begin at $1,890. Most women fall in love with the experience and their portraits and choose to invest in a collection.
I’ll walk you through all of your options in person, but you’re welcome to explore my portrait collections and artwork before your session so you have a clear understanding of what I offer.
-
Payment for your portraits is made at your same-day reveal. I accept all major credit cards, Venmo, Zelle and cash.
If you think you may choose to make a larger portrait investment using a credit or debit card, you may want to check your daily transaction limit or let your bank know ahead of time. This can help prevent an unexpected security decline and make the payment process as smooth as possible.
-
Yes. If a payment plan feels more comfortable for you, I’m happy to split your portrait investment into monthly payments for up to six months, with your first payment made on the day of your session. You’re also welcome to divide your payment between two credit cards if that works better for you.
Digital portraits are delivered once your collection has been paid in full, and printed artwork is ordered at that time as well. You’re always welcome to pay off your balance early if you’d like to receive your portraits sooner.
-
If your portrait collection is paid in full on the day of your session, you’ll receive your digital portraits by the end of the following day—often sooner.
Your printed artwork will then move into the design and production process. Because many of my heirloom pieces are handcrafted in Italy, you can expect approximately 6–8 weeks before your finished artwork is in your hands.
If you choose a payment plan, digital portraits are delivered and printed artwork is ordered once your collection has been paid in full.
-
You’re absolutely welcome to invite someone you love to share in your Just BE experience with you. This could be your partner, your mom, your daughter, your sister or someone else who holds a meaningful place in your life.
If you’d like to include someone, please let me know ahead of time so I can thoughtfully prepare for both of you. I want to understand what’s important about your relationship and guide the experience in a way that feels meaningful, comfortable and uniquely yours.
We’ll create portraits of you together while also making space for individual portraits, so your own Just BE experience remains an important part of the day.
If you’re bringing your partner, it can also be a beautiful opportunity to make an afternoon of it—turn your experience into a date and plan something special together afterward.
